Muharram is the beginning month of the Islamic Calendar and is one of the 4 holy months. It is a time for spiritual renewal, reflections and resilience.

The 10th Muharram also known as Ashura, holds a huge importance in the Islamic World. This is a day of remembrance, fasting and regarding the values of sacrifice, justice and steadfastness exemplified by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). This is the day when Imam Hussain (RA) was martyred in Sajdah and marked the greatest Sajdah ever in the history of Islam.
